Overcast is the held breath — grey, even, full of weather that hasn't broken yet. A jumper for the in-between days. Relaxed through the shoulder, the Ytinu mark stitched small. Calm, with something underneath it.
The city was founded in weather like this — undecided, low, about to break. A public ledger counts each piece before the sky makes its call, and thirteen houses read the count like a forecast. The ones who moved before the storm are the ones the city remembers.
