Soft is not the same as weak.

Rose is the dusk colour — muted, warm, unbothered by what it's supposed to mean. The Foundation Collection's quiet defiance: a soft thing that does not apologise. Brushed-back cotton, relaxed cut, the mark stitched small. Strength with nothing left to prove.

Doors in the city don't slam; they close softly, once. A public ledger counts who came in while the light was still dusk-coloured. Thirteen houses read it. The soft ones are underestimated in every city but this one.
