Overture is the opening — the piece that sets the tone for everything you build next. Relaxed cut, the mark over the heart. Worn first, remembered longest. The beginning of the thing, not the thing itself.
Somewhere a city is being scored into existence — a public ledger keeping time, a number for every piece, thirteen houses listening for their parts. An overture is played once, before the doors open. After that, it's the show.
Only four XL pieces of Overture were ever made — and they are never restocked. It isn't a countdown we invented; it's simply how many exist. When the last XL sells, the largest version of this piece is gone for the lifetime of the edition.
