How Ytinu City Is Being Built: A Prototype Civilisation in Real Time
The Ytinu Codex describes Ytinu City not as a brand, not as a community platform, but as a prototype civilisation — a working model of a different kind of social, economic, and governance architecture, being tested with real participants before being implemented at larger scale.
This is a specific claim. It demands specificity about what a prototype civilisation actually contains and how it differs from a typical community or brand.
What a Prototype Civilisation Requires
A civilisation, at minimum, requires: an identity system (who belongs and who does not), a governance structure (how decisions are made), an economic system (how value is created, measured, and exchanged), a social architecture (how members relate to each other), a time system (how the community organises its cycles), and a value framework (what principles the system operates on).
Most communities have one or two of these. Ytinu City is being built with all of them.
Identity: 13 houses, archetype-based, permanently declared, with house pages, creatures, mottos, values, and psychological profiles.
Governance: Foundation Pass holders hold a voice in the City — one vote per Pass number, never scaled by tier. As the system matures, governance decisions — on treasury, events, development priorities — will be made by this council.
Economics: Moc Coin, earned through contribution across six attributes, used for commerce and access. Fibonacci-weighted issuance.
Social architecture: Discord with house channels, cross-house spaces, and the Skool Inner Circle with classrooms, challenges, and progression tracks.
Time: The Ytinu Accord — 13 months of 28 days, Void Day, seven named days, XP bonuses per day type.
Values: The seven principles of the Ytinu Codex — Awakening Before Consent, Earned Belonging, Sovereignty Through Self-Mastery, Six Dimensions of Value, Transparent Value, The Void Is Kept.
Where the Build Is Now
The identity system is complete. The social architecture is built. The economic system is designed and being implemented. The governance layer is designed and awaiting sufficient member base to activate. The time system is complete.
This is a prototype. Parts of it will be revised as the community grows and tests reveal what works and what does not. This is the nature of prototyping — the design is serious but the commitment to the design is not dogmatic.
